![]() ![]() Excuse me, by “at this point”, did you mean “since April”?īased on the observations above, many of us on the WL feel like we have been for months just a “safety net” for Sloan in case COVID s**t hits the fan. My interviewer responded to me saying “thank you but waitlist movements are unlikely at this point”. Instead, it kept hoarding applicants onto its WL, furthering false hopes.Įverything just hit me last week when I provided my most recent WL update. That could explain the situation, but unlike other schools, Sloan refuses to review its WL and reject anybody from it. ![]() In the meantime, Sloan mentioned at multiple admit town halls that the current class size is at 450, approximately 10% over its regular size of 410. Upon receipt, Sloan said nothing but “this has been added to your file”. Since Sloan won’t offer personalized feedback, in desperation, many of us provided numerous updates and obtained additional recommendation letters some even retook GMAT. However, students were encouraged to “share any updates” with the school, which over time we realized is a black hole. In regular rounds, Sloan assigned a waitlist manager who hosted WL town halls. Admissions have been sporadic at best, and absolutely no admission from WL was made since late April. Based on Clearadmit data, since late April, way more applicants were waitlisted than rejected. Let’s start with the obvious: Sloan has been hoarding applicants onto its WL since late April, but unlike any other schools, Sloan have admitted absolute zero students from that WL. I have to admit, I am a sucker and would still attend if they admit me, but its has been a terrible experience being on Sloan’s WL so far. Like many, I’ve been on Sloan’s WL for 2 months now. ![]()
